All stories for the 2007 X-men Movieverse Ficathon are now in! That's 53 stories covering a wide variety of characters and pairings.

penknife has gathered the stories in this year's Master Archive, where you can view stories by category and pairing.

The mods would like to give special thanks to the many writers who stepped in to pinch-hit. Thanks to their efforts, we were able to post a story for every request in the ficathon. The following people contributed pinch-hits:

Hi all! As of now, we have 5 delayed stories (out of 53 -- that's pretty amazing, and thanks go out to our awesome pinch-hitters).

All of the stories have been assigned to backup and we have now set Tuesday as the date for which we are striving to have everything posted. That's a little later than we planned, but

FYI the recipients of the last set of pinch-hit stories (that is, the people who made the requests about which the stories are being written) will be:

Everybody else who signed up, including those who weren't able to submit their stories, should already have a story posted to their request. If your name isn't on this list, but you don't think a story has been posted for you, let us know and we can correct the oversight.

This is a call for pinch-hitters to write backup stories for the X-men movieverse ficathon.   You can sign up as a pinch-hitter, whether or not you are signed up for the ficathon.  Due dates are flexible, depending on when you receive the assignment, but our goal is to have as many stories as possible posted by September 23.

If you want to sign up to pinch hit, fill out the following form and leave it in the comments, or e-mail the mods at xmmf.ficathon at gmail dot com.  We'll be taking pinch-hit signups up until the due date, and they will be assigned on an individual basis, as defaults come in.  You'll have a chance to say "No" to an assignment, but the following questions are to help us match you up better:

Just a friendly reminder that your <lj user="xmmficathon"> stories are due to the moderators by September 15 .  You can send the story at any time on or <i>before</i> that date, and have it approved, but you should wait until September 23 to post stories to the community.  Note that <b>you do not have to post your story to your LJ.</b>   Your story may be hosted anywhere.  However, it will need to be posted/linked from this LJ community on September 23.  Thank you!
